The Digital Operational Resilience Act is a European Union regulation designed to strengthen the IT security and operational resilience of financial institutions and their third-party service providers. It is fully applicable from January 17, 2025. DORA requires periodical reporting of vendor relations.

How does INSIO ensure DORA compliance

INSIO and the central Contract management module is an easy way to streamline your reporting duties within DORA. Most notably, INSIO provides:

1. An auditable centralized contract register

With INSIO, you gain a centralized repository for all your contracts. Their lifecycle is easily monitored, including a detailed workflow and fully traceable audit log of all changes made to the contract. With INSIO, there is no doubt on what contract was approved by whom and when.

2. Notifications of contract expiry

The INSIO platform automatically notifies you of contracts that may need your attention, for example due to an upcoming expiry date. INSIO ensures, through escalation, that these tasks are handled correctly and closes the space for error.

3. Monitoring of DORA specific attributes

Within INSIO, it is possible to monitor all the fields required by the DORA legislation. Our application automatically alerts you to possible non-compliance.

4. DORA reports and exports

An export of all contracts into the EU-specific DORA reporting format is done automatically by the system. There is no need to fill in the DORA report, it is populated with data that you already have in the system, thereby saving time and effort.

And if you have data that is already elsewhere – in an Excel file, in local storage? That’s no problem – a one-time initial import service is included within the implementation of INSIO.
